How do I get my recovery equipment?
We offer free delivery, set up, and pick up options or you can save some money and pick up yourself.
We also offer patients the option of having their package delivered and setup up to one day prior to surgery. This eliminates having to go through the process when patient vision is impaired, and gives patients peace of mind knowing everything is ready for use. There is no charge for the earlier delivery, the rental will begin on the patient’s surgery date, however pre-delivery must occur the day before surgery.
Alternatively, we offer curbside pick up if the patient prefers to pick up the equipment. This pickup is near Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge.
Will my insurance cover the rental costs?
This varies based on the individual patient’s insurance company and coverage. Some insurance companies cover part of the costs of recovery equipment rentals. A receipt for your rental will be provided which can be submitted to your health coverage provider for reimbursement. We encourage you to request a prescription from your doctor as further proof to your insurance provider that the equipment is a necessary part of your recovery.
What if I notice a problem with my equipment?
Please contact us if you notice any issues with your equipment. DO NOT use the equipment until functionality and safety has been tested and cleared by one of our specialists. You will be provided with a business card with contact information when you get your equipment package.
How may I pay for my rental?
Payment can be made with cash or e-transfer only. Sorry we do not accept cheques, credit or debit cards. A credit card is required for mandatory security deposit purposes only.
What if I book for 3 weeks but only end up needing the equipment for 2?
You may cancel additional weeks after the base week is completed at any time. Additional weeks will be prorated to $15 per day if you cancel mid week. You will not be charged for days you do not have the equipment.
